About Me

My name is Alyse. I recently graduated college with a degree in Philosophy and English, and I am embarking on my post-graduate life with a year abroad in Mexico. I am working as an ETA in a small city in Central Mexico, and am loving it.

My life experience has furnished me with a go-to fun fact for whatever ice breaker or mingler I may have to participate in for the rest of my life. I have moved 23 times. It's a bit less (17, I think?) if you just count city to city moves. But being that others count the transition from one house to another a block away as a "move," I count all 23. I have been blessed to have lived in four countries—the USA, Italy, Mexico, and Spain—and have been able to travel to seven more.

This blog is about my life in one of those countries. I do plan, though, to connect it to my time and experiences elsewhere.

I've been able to journey around our globe. My hope is that through this blog, I can offer the opportunity for you to journey alongside me, no matter what corner of the world you find yourself in.
